IN A NUTSHELL

Inventory planning is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re looking for a passionate, driven, and data-savvy individual to join Team Bulk. This data-enabled team is responsible for ensuring maximum availability for our customers, whilst ensuring we operate within our budgeted stock levels.

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, ambitious team player to join the business and work as part of a high performing Supply Chain team, managing our stock availability for raw materials and sundries. You will work alongside Demand and Procurement teams, translating the demand into a supply plan which can be purchased to. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with other teams across the business such as Manufacturing and Logistics to ensure high, consistent availability for the business.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Develop and maintain the material supply plan based on the latest demand forecast, production schedules, and inventory policies.

  • Translate the demand and production plan into raw material and packaging requirements at SKU and supplier level.

  • Work closely with Demand Planners and Production Planners to ensure cross-functional alignment.

  • Provide a clear, time-phased purchase plan to Co-ordinators and Procurement to enable timely purchasing decisions.

  • Collaborate with Co-ordinators to track supplier lead times, order quantities, and delivery schedules.

  • Identify and mitigate potential supply risks due to supplier constraints or material shortages.

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels, balancing availability with working capital targets.

  • Manage safety stock levels and reorder points based on consumption trends and supplier performance.

  • Present risks and mitigating action in the material requirements in the weekly PO review meeting.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 2-4 years Supply/Inventory Planning and experience in Retail/FMCG environment.

  • Strong data analytics skills, able to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data and identify key drivers for performance for your category.

  • Strategic mindset and comfortable being in the details while also being able to think outside the box to move the business forward.

  • Planning and organisation – manages multiple tasks and stakeholders ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Strong agility, taking responsibility/making decisions in uncertain environments.

  • IT Skills – high levels of proficiency in MS Office and GSuite.
