IN A NUTSHELL
Reporting to our Finance Operations Manager, you’ll be stepping into the role of Senior Accounts Assistant (Accounts Receivable & Treasury) with real impact from day one. This isn’t just about crunching numbers – you’ll be tackling the trickier stuff, driving improvements, and helping the Accounts Receivable & Treasury team smash our OKRs.
You’ll get stuck into a mix of accounting processes, all while keeping our customers at the heart of what you do. If you’re switched on, thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth e-commerce environment, and want to level up your skills while making a difference, this could be your next big move.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
AR Function
- Support with resource gaps and complex queries to ensure efficient running of standard processes.
- Monitor and review Amazon Shortage claims, and report to the Finance Operations Manager as required.
- Training more junior Accounts Assistants and supporting them with processes and decision-making.
- Ownership of specific areas of the sales ledger, monitoring payment captures and processes, and escalating any system issues to the Finance Operations Manager. All unexplained balances are to be investigated promptly.
- Put Bulks customers first, processing sales order refunds as requested by the customer service team whilst working within company policies.
- Play a role in monitoring internal controls and processes, liaising closely with the Finance Operations Manager on any identified issues, either manual or systematic.
- Ownership of specific daily PSP bank reconciliations, investigating any variances, and ensuring they are resolved promptly.
- Testing of any new systems and processes.
- Reporting on Adyen acceptance rates and fraud scoring and presenting to FOM every quarter.
- Overseeing Wholesale Invoices and payment collection.
- Working as part of a team, be motivated and driven to aid in the recovery of operational OKRs, and willing to support across the function.
- Play a role in embedding new processes into operational finance to drive improved efficiencies and strengthen controls through testing and training.
Treasury
- Complete Prepayment card reconciliations and ensure all balances are accounted for and reconciled, escalating any policy breaches to the Finance Operations Manager.
- Post staff expense claims to the ledger, following company policy to ensure expenses are only paid for approved costs, escalating any policy breaches to the Finance Operations Manager.
- Support with raising payments on the bank.
- Completing ad hoc duties where needed.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar accounts role (e-commerce or scale-up experience is a huge plus!)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills – clear, concise, and human.
