IN A NUTSHELL
As our Digital Trading Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the trade calendar, implementing a dynamic pricing strategy, and ensuring we optimise our stock management through innovative trading strategies. You will be reporting directly to the eCommerce Director and will implement best practices whilst constantly challenging the way we do things.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams across Brand, Loyalty, Performance Marketing, CRO, IPP & Logistics, you will use data‑driven insights to make informed decisions and implement solutions to enhance the online customer experience. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Budget management: Work with the eCommerce Director and our Commercial Finance team to set the budget for the business and ensure we deliver against it.
- Obsessed with data: Use our BI platform, Tableau, to fully understand the performance of the business and work with the relevant stakeholders to optimise each function. Know our core trading metrics such as Sessions, AOV, UPO, conversion rate and more.
- Forecasting excellence: Develop our forecasting ability to constantly improve our hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly accuracy to ensure the business operates efficiently and we maximise the consumer experience.
- Dynamic pricing: Implement and optimise a dynamic pricing strategy to maximise margin, ensuring competitiveness in the market while aligning with overall brand positioning and profitability targets.
- Trading calendar: Ensure the trading plan is continually optimised to stay relevant, fresh, and localised, where needed, and ensure we consistently offer our customers the best possible value whilst maximising our margin.
- Content management: Brief our Brand & Creative teams for onsite banners and ensure they’re fresh, on brand, and deployed in line with the trading plan.
- eCommerce Merchandising: Ensure our Trading and Merchandising strategies are in lock‑step to maximise the effectiveness of both functions.
- Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with the Brand, Loyalty, and Performance Marketing teams to ensure all trading activities are integrated with marketing campaigns, customer loyalty initiatives, and performance‑driven goals.
- Stock Management: Work closely with our IPP team to optimise the dynamic pricing strategy for margin, stock availability, and consumer experience.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Over 5 years of experience in a Digital Trading role within an eCommerce business.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Proven experience in implementing pricing strategies within an eCommerce business, with a strong understanding of price elasticity to maximise margins.
- Familiarity with leading eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, or Adobe/Magento Commerce.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build professional relationships internally and with external partners.
- Obsessed with data.
- Coaching & mentoring: Able to manage and coach a team of Digital eCommerce Executives to forge a strong team, hit the business goals and create a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adaptability and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Consumer‑centric mindset: Always consider the end‑user experience when making decisions and implementing strategies.
- Ideally, experience in eCommerce behaviours across multiple countries.

LOCATION
London, Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
