BULB is a growing Design & Build business delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects across offices and specialist environments. As our Pre-Construction workload continues to grow, we’re looking to hire a Document Controller / Administrator to support our expanding team and play a key role in the success of our bids and projects.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role at the heart of Pre-Construction, supporting Project Coordinators, Commercial, and Technical teams by ensuring documentation is accurate, controlled, and issued on time from the enquiry stage through to project win.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and maintaining our document control system (Autodesk Construction Cloud – ACC)
- Managing the flow of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and correspondence
- Ensuring correct version control, approvals, and audit trails
- Supporting tender processes, including incoming/outgoing documentation
- Chasing consultants and supply chain partners for timely returns
- Preparing tender submissions and project handover documentation
- Taking and issuing minutes from internal and external meetings
- Maintaining logs, trackers, and reporting on document status and KPIs
- Supporting compliance, quality assurance, and data integrity
What we’re looking for:
- 2–5+ years’ experience in document control or project administration
- Background in interior fit-out, construction, architecture, or engineering
- Confident using EDMS platforms (ACC, Aconex, Procore, Asite, SharePoint, etc.)
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
- A collaborative team player who’s comfortable in a fast-paced environment
