About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to join a 1-year digital defence project starting this August. Operating at a senior contractor level (SFIA 4/5 equivalent), you will apply UK defence safety management frameworks across complex digital technical work packages.
Key Responsibilities

Apply MAA regulations and DE&S safety protocols to evaluate hazards, manage risk registers, and develop safety cases.

Deliver technical safety work packages in digital engineering environments.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary defence teams and key project stakeholders.
Candidate Profile

Domain Background: Proven engineering background in Air and/or Munitions / Land domains (Navy-focused profiles are not suitable for this role).

Regulatory Expertise: Working knowledge of MAA regulatory frameworks and DE&S safety management procedures.

Seniority Equivalent: SFIA Level 4/5 capability (comparable to Civil Service C2/C1 or Military Flight Lieutenant / Squadron Leader ranks).
