We are seeking an experienced and proactive Electrical Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in interpreting main contractor programmes, aligning them with our Electrical works, and ensuring efficient project execution. Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyse main contractor work schedules to align with project timelines.
  • Apply logical planning and sequencing to integrate works smoothly into the overall programme.
  • Develop and maintain labour histograms to accurately forecast workforce requirements.
  • Identify optimal resourcing and labour needs, ensuring projects remain on track and within schedule.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure programme alignment and timely delivery.
  • Provide strategic planning input and recommendations to enhance project performance and delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of the Electrical contracting industry; experience in the M&E sector is essential.
  • Proficiency in Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project - ideal but not essential.
  • Previous site-based experience is beneficial—ideal for those looking to transition into a planning-focused role.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to apply logical and methodical thinking to complex project sequences.
  • Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts and an understanding of the Compensation Event (CE) process.
