Builth Wells Primary is a dual stream primary school for children aged 4-11 years. Some children learn primarily through the medium of Welsh and some primarily through English. Although dual stream, we are very much one school and are proud that all our children are encouraged to identify as citizens of Wales and the wider world.

Within the school building, we have eight classrooms, four in each stream and we host an Area Learning Support Class on behalf of the Local Authority. We also have a Welsh medium pre-school group, Cylch yn yr Ysgol, and a Ti a Fi bilingual parent and toddler group.

Responsibilities:

  • Support learning within the Welsh stream of the school.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be able to communicate in Welsh to a good standard and have the skills and qualifications necessary to fulfil the role.
