The Opportunity

At Built, our Commercial team plays a critical role in maximising value, managing risk and supporting the delivery of some of Australia's most complex construction projects. Our Contract Administrators work closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure strong financial and contractual outcomes from procurement through to completion.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage project costs, forecasting, and financial performance.
  • Support procurement activities and subcontractor management.
  • Assess progress claims, variations and contractual entitlements while protecting project value.
  • Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

What We Are Looking For

This opportunity will suit Quantity Surveyors who combine strong technical foundations with a collaborative and practical approach. You'll enjoy building trusted relationships, solving commercial challenges and working as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will bring:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Construction Law or a related discipline.
  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Contract Administrator within the construction industry.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management capability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across project teams.
  • A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to learn, grow and contribute to project success.
