The Estimator position will join the Built UK team to produce estimates in line with the clients' requirements whilst identifying risks and opportunities in new projects. Here's what a typical day might look like for you:
- Maintaining relationships with existing subcontractors, consultants and internal stakeholders, building new relationships where required.
- Completing work in accordance with Built's procedures whilst ensuring relevant information is obtained from client briefs.
- Assessing documentation, splitting into trades and invitation to tender.
- Assisting with the preparation of estimating programs to track and monitor progress.
- Assist or lead post tender negotiations alongside Senior Estimator and Director.
