If you’re an accomplished mid to senior level Project Manager considering your options, do read on.
We’ve been instructed to support one of the UK’s most highly regarded construction consultancies as they look to appoint a Senior Project Manager into their growing Manchester office.
You’ll be joining a small, specialist Project Management team that has been carefully built over the last few years, delivering some genuinely standout schemes that few consultancies can offer exposure to. Projects include a boutique new-build hotel, a state-of-the-art leisure centre facility, and a landmark stadium development for one of the UK’s most exciting football clubs, with significant future phases planned.
This role offers you to deliver high-profile, complex projects within a nationally respected consultancy, while still being part of a close-knit, highly supportive local team. You truly get the best of both worlds: the backing, reputation and pipeline of a major consultancy, combined with the culture and autonomy of a smaller specialist group.
You’ll be expected to act as a trusted advisor to clients and leading multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll be comfortable operating in a client-facing capacity and playing a key role in shaping project strategy, procurement and delivery.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience delivering projects within the built environment, ideally across leisure, hospitality, commercial or large-scale mixed-use schemes but open to other sectors
- Strong working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
- Experience acting as Employer’s Agent (or the capability and desire to do so where required)
- Ability to lead projects from early feasibility and design stages through procurement, construction and handover
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ideally chartered (MRICS / MAPM or similar), or working towards chartership
