Director β Building Surveying / Quantity Surveying / Project Management / New Office Launch, Manchester
A genuinely rare role to build something from the ground up, backed by a business that has already proven it knows how to grow.
Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy with an already very impressive track record. 42% year-on-year growth, five offices across the South and Midlands and a reputation as one of the UK's fastest-growing and most highly regarded practices in the built environment.
Having recently opened successful new offices, with majority turning over around Β£1m each within a short space of time, the business is now ready for its next chapter, a move into the North, starting with Manchester.
They're looking for a Director to lead that charge.
This isn't a role where you're handed a desk and a target.
It's a genuine partnership in building a new office from scratch, with full backing and investment from the business behind you.
You'll need a proven track record of winning work and delivering it, ideally with experience across building surveying, quantity surveying, or project management and the credibility to open doors and build relationships across the region from day one.
The business works extensively across industrial, education, healthcare, and local authority sectors and there's real appetite to bring that expertise into the Manchester market.
You won't be starting entirely from nothing either, there are already some live opportunities in Leeds and Manchester that could give you an early foothold while you build the wider pipeline.
What makes this stand out is how seriously the business invests in the people who help it grow.
This is a role with genuine equity potential, EMI share schemes and ownership opportunities are on the table for the right person, alongside a bonus structure designed to reward the growth you create.
This isn't just a job; it's a chance to build a business within a business and to be recognised properly for doing it.
If you've got the ambition to lead a start-up office, the relationships to back it and the appetite to be part of a business at a genuinely pivotal moment in its history, this is definitely worth discussing.
