Built Alliance are pleased to be representing a fast-growing Advisory Consultancy that has established a strong presence across the North East in a relatively short space of time. The business has grown to nearly 20 people, secured multiple frameworks and continues to expand, supported by a consistent pipeline of work at a very impressive rate.
As part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior to Associate-level Quantity Surveyor to join a developing Cost Management division and play a key role in shaping its future. This position is well suited to a consultancy led QS who wants more than just project delivery. You will manage your own projects, act as the primary client contact and work closely with senior leadership to help refine cost management processes, systems and data as the team grows.
Projects are predominantly within healthcare and education, with increasing exposure to residential and other sectors.
Responsibilities
- Deliver full PQS / Cost Management services from feasibility to final account
- Lead client relationships on assigned projects
- Contribute to the development of cost management processes and cost data
- Support the continued improvement of Kreo (AW-powered) QS software
- Assist with the QS team growth
- Work across projects in the North East, Yorkshire and North West
Working environment
Your assigned workspace is your home, with no contractual requirement to attend the office a set number of days. Office time is flexible and driven by collaboration and project needs.
About you
- Senior Consultant or Associate-level PQS with consultancy experience
- MRICS (or close to completion)
- Confident running projects and liaising directly with clients
- Interested in influencing how a cost management service develops
