Northern Education Trust (NET) is a charitable education Trust with a good track record for school improvement. The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions. Buile Hill’s academic performance has seen a remarkable turnaround in just one academic year, with exam outcomes trebling and now above the national averages. The 2025 performance tables show that Buile Hill was outperformed only by two selective schools in Salford in terms of the percentage of students who pass English and Maths at a Grade 5 or higher, placing it third overall on key attainment measures and the highest‑performing non‑selective school in the borough. Perhaps most significantly, Buile Hill is on track to be named Salford’s most improved school reflecting the hard work of staff and students, and the transformative impact of support from NET, a nationally recognised multi‑academy trust with a strong record of driving rapid improvement in schools.
