As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven and personable Mortgage Retention & Relationship Manager to join our team. If you have a talent for engaging with people, understand the mortgage market, and can spot opportunities to add value to existing clients, we’d love to hear from you.
Your Role
This is not a cold-calling role. You’ll be working with warm clients – people who already know and trust our brand. Your mission is to:
- Retain existing mortgage clients by proactively engaging ahead of product expiry dates
- Build and nurture high-value relationships, particularly with long-standing portfolio clients
- Generate organic new business from our existing database through intelligent conversations and relationship-building
- Conduct regular check-ins via phone and occasional face-to-face meetings
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling or referrals where appropriate
- Collaborate with advisers and admin teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
About You
- Strong background in mortgage retention, account management, or client services
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport quickly
- Highly organised, with good CRM habits and follow-up discipline
- A self-starter who thrives on proactive outreach and relationship management
- CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) desirable, but not essential if you have industry knowledge
- Comfortable with a mix of remote communication and in-person meetings
