Job Description: We are currently looking for a Trade Desk Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to start or develop their sales career within the construction supply industry. While having prior experience in the field would be beneficial, please don't worry if you don't have any - we provide full training.
Main Duties Include:
- Handling customer enquiries on the phone and face to face
- Achieving sales targets
- Dealing with cash and card transactions
- Dealing with suppliers and customer complaints and queries
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Assisting customers with product selection and providing expert advice
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Updating product displays and promotional materials
- Processing orders and ensuring timely delivery
- Managing inventory and restocking supplies
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve overall sales goals
- Handling returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
