A well-established specialist contractor operating across the industrial and logistics sector is looking to appoint a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee multiple refurbishment and weatherproofing projects across the M25 corridor. The business delivers refurbishment, roofing, cladding, waterproofing and external envelope packages on large-scale warehouse, logistics and industrial units, with individual project values ranging from £200k to £2.5m. This is a senior operational role suited to an experienced Contracts Manager who has delivered industrial shed refurbishments, roofing and cladding projects, or wider building envelope packages within live environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple industrial refurbishment and external envelope projects simultaneously.
  • Manage project teams including Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
  • Lead client meetings and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Manage project planning, sequencing and delivery strategies.
  • Monitor commercial performance alongside internal commercial teams.
  • Drive programme performance and resolve delivery issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements and company procedures.
  • Review project progress, labour allocation and subcontractor performance.
  • Support tender handovers and pre-construction planning.
  • Conduct regular site visits across projects along the M25 corridor.
  • Produce operational reports for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Contracts Manager.
  • Strong background delivering industrial/logistics refurbishment projects.
  • Experience with roofing, cladding, waterproofing or building envelope packages.
  • Experience working on live warehouse or distribution environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
  • Excellent client-facing and leadership skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred.
  • Full UK driving licence.
