The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Working Supervisor to support the delivery of a commercial office fit-out project in Reading.
This is a practical, site-based position suited to someone with a background in general construction, fit-out or refurbishment who can carry out hands-on duties while overseeing and coordinating day-to-day site activities.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working on the tools, supporting site operations and ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring and hands-on construction duties.
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
- Assist with maintaining site safety and housekeeping standards.
- Monitor work areas and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Act as Fire Watch when required.
- Support the wider site team with general operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with site health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- Fire Watch certification/qualification.
- Fire Marshal certification.
- Previous experience within construction, commercial fit-out or refurbishment.
- Comfortable undertaking hands-on labouring duties.
- Reliable, proactive and safety-conscious. xiskglj
- Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.
