Build Space is on the hunt for an experienced Design Manager to help support onward growth at one of the UK's hottest Construction Main Contractors. Working on a wide range of projects - Industrial & Logistics, Sports & Leisure, Student Accommodation, Care Homes, Mixed Use - this is an outstanding opportunity for a bright, driven Design Manager looking to really accelerate their career.

Design Manager roles & responsibilities:
  • Leading design delivery from precon stage through to handover.
  • Collaborating with the Client, their Consultants and your Project Team to agree the most practical and efficient design solution.
  • Supervising Design Team Consultants and Supply Chain Partners to ensure consistent quality and compliance with project programmes.
  • Managing design development, risks and opportunities at all times.
  • Working with Design Coordinator and Document Controller to ensure all information is bang up to date at all times.
Design Manager experience required:
  • Minimum 10 years Design Manager experience.
  • Excellent design discipline.
  • Degree educated or similar.
  • First class technical skills.
