Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, site-based Project Manager to take full ownership of a live, occupied CAT B commercial office fit-out in central Glasgow. This is a site-first role. You will be the No.1 on site, responsible for driving programme, managing trades, and acting as the face of the contractor in a live client environment where control, communication, and professionalism are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of site delivery from start through to handover
- Act as the primary client-facing representative on site
- Drive and manage the construction programme, ensuring deadlines are met
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and site logistics
- Maintain strict health & safety standards within a live/occupied building
- Lead site meetings and progress reporting to senior stakeholders
- Oversee quality control, snagging, and handover process
- Manage day-to-day problem solving on a fast-paced fit-out project
- Work alongside commercial teams on variations and cost implications
- Ensure minimal disruption to the live working environment
Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering CAT A / CAT B office fit-outs as a No.1 Project Manager
- Strong track record working within live / occupied commercial environments
- Background with a main contractor or specialist fit-out contractor
- Ability to run projects independently on site
- Strong client-facing experience with professional stakeholder management
- Experience delivering fast-track, high-spec commercial interiors projects

- Black CSCS Card (Manager level)
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- First Aid at Work (valid)
- Asbestos Awareness
- Fire Safety / Fire Marshal Training
