About the Project
We are recruiting experienced Construction Labourers for a major new-build accommodation development at Catterick Garrison. The project involves the construction of modern residential accommodation using modern construction methods and offers long-term work for reliable and hardworking candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- General labouring duties on a busy construction site.
- Assisting skilled trades with day-to-day activities.
- Loading, unloading and moving materials safely around site.
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards.
- Assisting with site setup and welfare maintenance.
- Supporting deliveries and ensuring materials are stored correctly.
- Following instructions from the Site Manager and Supervisors.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and site rules.
- Working as part of a team to ensure the project remains on programme.
Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card - Essential.
- Previous construction site labouring experience.
- Candidates MUST live within a 25-mile radius of Catterick Garrison.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
- Good understanding of construction site Health & Safety.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Full PPE (Hard Hat, High Visibility Vest, Safety Boots and Gloves).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience working on large-scale residential or commercial construction projects.
- Knowledge of modern construction methods.
- Own transport is advantageous.
