Freelance Setting Out Site Engineer Isle of Wight £400 per day + Travel, Accommodation and Expenses 26-Week Contract | Starting Early Mid September A well-established construction and engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Freelance Setting Out Site Engineer to support the delivery of a light industrial construction project on the Isle of Wight.
This is a site-based contract expected to run for approximately 26 weeks, with a planned start in early to mid-September.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for setting out works accurately, supporting the site team with engineering requirements and ensuring construction activities are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
The role will suit an experienced Site Engineer who has worked on light industrial, industrial, warehouse, logistics or similar construction projects and is comfortable working independently using their own setting-out equipment.
Key Responsibilities Carry out accurate setting out for all relevant construction works using the appropriate surveying equipment.
