Estimator for Industrial & Logistics Projects
Location: St Albans
Salary: £50,000 - £85,000 (Depending on level of experience) Freelance option £400 - £450 day rate

The Role
We are looking for an Estimator to prepare and submit accurate project bids, ensuring costs meet client requirements. You will calculate materials, labour, equipment costs, and liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare bids and cost estimates for projects
- Oversee project costs and maintain budgets
- Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Collate detailed price lists and submissions
- Liaise with project managers and clients
- Follow health, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience in industrial or logistics projects (advantageous)
- Degree in Estimating or related field (or studying towards one)
- Strong communication, organisational, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Driving license beneficial
