Electrical Supervisor Chiller Decommissioning Location: Central Birmingham Contract Length: 67 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Rate: £300 - £325 per day Pattern: Freelance / Site-based Sector: Commercial / Building Services Overview An experienced Electrical Supervisor is required for a 67 week freelance contract in Central Birmingham. The project involves the decommissioning of existing commercial chillers, including electrical isolation, disconnection and associated plantroom works. You will be responsible for supervising the electrical elements of the works and ensuring the project is delivered safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Supervise electrical works associated with the decommissioning of existing chillers. Oversee safe isolation and disconnection of electrical supplies to chillers and associated equipment. Coordinate electrical works with mechanical engineers and other site teams. Supervise removal and disconnection of associated electrical equipment, cabling and controls. Ensure works are completed in accordance with RAMS, drawings and site procedures. Monitor progress and maintain high standards of health & safety. Assist with testing, verification and handover of completed works. Requirements Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Site Supervisor, Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrician. Strong commercial or industrial electrical experience. Previous experience working around chillers, HVAC, plantrooms or mechanical plant. Experience with electrical decommissioning, isolation and disconnection. Valid CSCS or ECS card essential. Relevant electrical qualification. Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements. Available to start ASAP and commit to the full 67 week contract.
