I am currently recruiting on behalf of a data centre specialist subcontractor, who are looking to bring a BMS Engineer into the team on a huge hyperscale project in North West London.
Due to the nature and scale of the project, a driven hardworking candidate will be successful.
There is a need for top class communication on the project, between existing team members of the business, along with the main contractor, the end client and stakeholders along the way.
BMS Engineer – Required qualifications:
- Electrically skilled Advanced qualification
- CSCS card or ECS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification would be a plus
BMS Engineer – Duties:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams
- Check and adjust panel wiring
- Dead testing
- Hot loop checks
- Coordinate Cx activities and manage Cx operatives
- Attend daily meetings to update on progress and planned activities
- Assist L2QAQC walkdowns
- Draft Cx documents (based on a template) and upload on customer platform
BMS Engineer – Desired experience:
- Experience with BMS commissioning
- Experience with Integrated System Testing
- Experience on Data center projects would be an asset
