What you’ll do
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
- Collaborate closely with product management and other stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into actionable engineering tasks.
- Implement best practices in software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help team members achieve their professional goals.
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development projects, proactively addressing potential issues before they impact delivery.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing software engineering teams and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, along with experience in web development technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, is a plus.
