About the Role

This role combines practical work with construction schedules and leadership of the Schedule Integration Specialist team.

As a schedule integration specialist you will be involved with practical work of aligning our customers construction schedules with the Buildots Digital Twin.

As team lead you will be involved with the management and development of the team, owning quality, allocating work and acting as the escalation point for complex issues.

The role is ideally suited to construction professionals who are looking to enter the technology industry whilst focusing their existing construction and management knowledge on to the schedule alignment work done in Buildots.

It is expected there will be a 50/50 split of management and practical schedule alignment tasks but this will vary with the requirements of the role.

Perspective hires should be aware that the practical aspects of the role are key and that training will be given on joining Buildots.

As a Schedule Integration Specialist, you will

Thoroughly understand our customers construction schedules / programmes as part of the design of the Buildots Digital twin.

  • Align activities in construction schedules / programmes to the construction activities tracked by Buildots.
  • Work on a wide variety of different project types from around the world.
  • Provide ongoing project maintenance throughout the project's life cycle

As a Team Lead, you will

  • Provide people management involving leading, mentoring and developing a team of construction specialists in the Schedule Integration Specialists..
  • Own end-to-end delivery quality and consistency across the team’s project portfolio, conducting regular reviews of schedule integration work and providing constructive feedback.
  • Plan and allocate workload across the team based on project complexity, deadlines, and each specialist’s capacity and development needs.
  • Act as the primary external escalation point for complex scheduling, technical, or client-relationship issues that specialists cannot resolve independently.
  • Onboard and train new Schedule Integration Specialists, building out training materials, playbooks, and best-practice documentation.
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and career development conversations with direct reports.
  • Partner with internal teams to represent the scheduling team’s needs and surface recurring client pain points.
  • Track and report team performance metrics and KPIs to leadership.
  • Contribute to hiring through assessment or candidates and participate in interviews.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the sequence of work at the Fit Out stage of a construction project.
  • Proven experience managing teams, reporting KI and providing holistic guidance.
  • 4+ years of proven operational experience in construction projects.
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Engineering / Planning / Construction Management Degree (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience with construction schedules.
  • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and installations.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Great interpersonal skills & interface management.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of 3D modelling software – Advantage.
  • Proficiency in the German language – Advantage.
  • Technical Requirements
  • Tech savvy, proficient in computer applications, MS Office, G Suite and AI tools
  • MS Project, P6, Powerproject – Advantage.

  • For London based candidates Buildots has a hybrid working policy
