Managing construction projects, you will lead Beard project teams, communicating business and project objectives to all members of the team and ensuring company procedures are followed.
To manage a selection of construction projects with the aim of achieving profitable, prompt and faultless delivery. The contracts manager is overall responsible for leading the Beard project team, communicating business and project objectives to all members of the team and ensuring company procedures are followed.
Responsibilities include:
- Look ahead and plan all aspects of the project, identifying challenges and suggesting solutions.
- Manage the design process and consultant team to ensure information meets budget and procurement/construction timescales.
- Have profit and loss responsibility, working closely with the project QS to ensure targets are met.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience as a contract’s manager, or 5 years as a project manager.
- Ability to demonstrate strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to achieve successful outcomes through building strong teams who work together for the common good.
- Ability to coach and develop team members to a higher level of personal performance.
