Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site HGV Driver Class 2 role based in Dursley. The HGV Driver Class 2 is responsible for safely loading, securing, and delivering building materials to customer sites, branches, and project locations in a timely manner. Day‑to‑day tasks include completing pre‑use vehicle checks, following planned delivery routes, and complying with all road transport and safety regulations. The role involves liaising with customers on‑site, obtaining delivery signatures, and providing a professional and courteous service. The driver will also assist with unloading using appropriate equipment, support the yard or warehouse team when required, and report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delivery issues promptly to the manager or transport coordinator. Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license, Driver CPC qualification, and a clean or low‑points driving record.
