  • Your mission
  • Why this role, why now

Around half of our clients and prospects submit to GRESB, and for many it is the benchmark their investors watch most closely.

Submission is far more than a technical, time‑consuming exercise: it is genuinely complex, demanding well‑reasoned assumptions, a real understanding of the GRESB model, and a clear view of how each decision affects the final score.

That complexity is exactly where we can add value.

We want to offer a structured GRESB service that goes beyond the platform: analysing the previous submission, building a concrete improvement plan, optimising the score, and following up year after year — prioritising quick wins and high‑impact actions so customers see progress early and sustain it over time.

This role brings that service to market.

It is a double‑hat position, backed by our platform's GRESB reporting and submission capabilities: you will sell and shape these engagements, deliver measurable score improvement, and raise the GRESB fluency of the wider Professional Services team so that every project manager can confidently guide their customers through a submission cycle.

  • What you’ll do
  • Sell GRESB advisory — lead the commercial motion
  • Own a quota for GRESB advisory and optimisation services, positioning them alongside the Building Minds platform as an integrated offering (backed by Saa S) rather than a standalone consultancy.
  • Build the commercial narrative and pricing for GRESB engagements, including success‑based and score‑linked models where they fit the customer.
  • Work hand in hand with Sales and Key Account Management to qualify opportunities, scope engagements, and convert GRESB need into signed advisory work across new and existing accounts.
  • Use publicly available GRESB participation data and our own portfolio insight to identify and prioritise the accounts where advisory has the highest impact.
  • Deliver optimisation, score increase and submission
  • Run a clear, repeatable engagement model: baseline assessment, gap analysis, an indicator‑by‑indicator optimisation plan, and hands‑on support through data collection, validation, and submission.
  • Give customers a credible, defensible view of their likely score and the specific actions that will move it, so management sees the number, not just the process.
  • Translate GRESB requirements into concrete platform workflows, making the most of Building Minds reporting and submission features to reduce manual effort and error.
  • Own the submission timeline against the annual GRESB cycle, keeping accounts on track and flagging risk early.
  • Uplift the team — train and enable project managers
  • Design and run internal enablement so Professional Services project managers can independently guide their customers through GRESB submissions.
  • Build reusable playbooks, templates, checklists, and a scoring toolkit that standardise how we support GRESB across the portfolio.
  • Act as the internal point of escalation and coach on GRESB questions, and feed practical requirements back to Product to keep our GRESB capabilities market‑leading.

Your profile

Essential

  • Hands‑on GRESB experience across a full submission cycle, ideally gained at a consultancy or advisor such as CBRE, JLL, RLB, or GRESB itself, or in‑house at an asset manager.
  • A track record of improving GRESB scores and a strong command of the assessment structure, indicators, and scoring logic.
  • A genuine double‑hat profile: commercially confident and comfortable carrying a quota, while credible and rigorous in delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder skills, able to work with sustainability, asset management, and C‑level contacts on the customer side.
  • Comfort with data and sustainability reporting workflows, and an appetite to work through a software platform rather than spreadsheets.
  • Fluent English; based in or able to work on a hybrid basis from Berlin or London, with willingness to travel to customers.
  • Nice to have
  • Familiarity with adjacent frameworks and regulation — EU Taxonomy, SFDR, CSRD, CRREM.
  • German language skills for our DACH accounts.
  • Experience enabling or training other teams, and building repeatable delivery playbooks.

Why us?

  • A rare double‑hat mandate with real ownership, you shape both the commercial offer and how we deliver it.
  • A platform‑backed advisory proposition, so you sell outcomes supported by technology rather than pure hours.
  • A diverse team with people from all over the world, of all ages with a supportive atmosphere
  • A hybrid work policy- 3 days remote per week (London‑based, with travel to Berlin and client sites as needed)
  • Apple latest technology for your best efficiency
  • The opportunity to shape building sustainability at global scale
  • Competitive compensation and benefits plus a variety of snacks and drinks in the office
  • Unlimited working contract with 30 days of vacation per year
  • Urban Sports Club and Public Transport Subsidy (for Berlin based employees)
