Building Transformation is a niche external building fabric access and maintenance company based in Bedford, working predominantly in the Southeast. We are looking for an experienced Roof Repair & Maintenance Engineer with experience of planned and reactive roofing works across a range of systems, including flat, felt, single-ply, and pitched roofs.

Your role at a glance:

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll deliver high‑quality roof maintenance, inspections, and repairs across a range of client sites. You will:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a variety of roofing systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve roofing defects, leaks, and failures effectively.
  • Undertake roof inspections and condition surveys, recording findings clearly.
  • Complete general repairs including patching, sealing, flashing, and minor refurbishments.
  • Work safely at height using appropriate access equipment and in line with health & safety standards.
  • Communicate professionally with clients on‑site, providing clear updates on work carried out.
  • Identify and report additional defects or opportunities for further works.
  • Maintain accurate job records, reports, and completion documentation.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support service delivery and follow‑on work.

You will be someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works safely, and represents the business professionally on‑site.
