We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Business Development Manager who can drive growth and market share with current clients, lead a team, open new doors and connections, and expand into new markets. Ideally, you will have a solid knowledge of external building maintenance, facades, roofs or specialist access maintenance and a commercial understanding of how to drive growth. You may have a background within the facilities management, commercial cleaning or property maintenance sectors.
Why Join Us?
- Be a key player – You will have real influence over growth strategy, client relationships, and commercial success.
- Make an impact – This isn’t a maintenance role; you’ll be driving change, growth, and improvement.
- Variety and autonomy – A broad role spanning leadership, strategy, client engagement, and delivery.
- Strong client base – Work with established clients across multiple sectors, with real opportunity to expand.
- Growth-focused culture – A business that values ideas, initiative, and continuous improvement.
- Development and progression – Ongoing investment in your development, including a structured training plan.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you will lead the commercial function and drive growth across both existing clients and new business.
You Will:
- Lead and develop a high-performing commercial team.
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships at a strategic level.
- Grow existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities.
- Take ownership of commercial performance across key accounts (revenue, margin, retention, pipeline).
- Lead client engagement activity to unlock further growth opportunities.
- Oversee pricing strategy and contract negotiations to support sustainable profitability.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless, joined-up client experience.
- Use data, insight, and market awareness to drive performance and continuous improvement.
This is a role for someone who enjoys both the strategic and the day-to-day, equally comfortable shaping direction and being directly involved in client relationships and delivery.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused leader who can make a tangible impact from day one. You will bring:
- Proven experience in a commercial, account management, or business development leadership role.

- Experience managing revenue, margin, and overall commercial performance.
- The ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to deliver high standards and results.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence managing complex commercial discussions.
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities and drive market growth.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with credibility at all levels.
- A data-driven approach, using insight to inform decisions and improve performance.
- High levels of organisation, resilience, and personal accountability.
Desirable (but not essential)
