Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical designs from concept through to detailed stages, covering power, lighting, communications, security systems and low energy solutions
  • Carry out site inspections and surveys, producing accurate reports, specifications and design documentation
  • Attend and contribute to client and design team meetings, supporting strong project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams that value sustainability, innovation and best practice

This position is particularly suited to someone seeking guidance and development, with a clear pathway towards Senior Engineer level.

Ideal Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • At least four years of relevant experience in electrical building services design or consultancy
  • Experience using Revit, BIM workflows or similar design software (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
  • Strong technical ability, clear communication skills and confidence working with clients and colleagues
  • A genuine interest in sustainable design and delivering high quality outcomes
