A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor with a strong family culture is seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer to join their London team. This is a varied role combining electrical expertise with general M&E maintenance, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a well-respected business.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain BMS front-end systems
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and mechanical plant
- Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems
- Undertake general M&E maintenance tasks, including: emergency lighting tests, water temperature monitoring, AHU and FCU maintenance, minor plumbing repairs, reactive maintenance
- Provide excellent client-facing service, maintaining strong on-site relationships
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience in PPM, fault-finding, and repairs on both electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Based within a commutable distance of Central London
