A leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor with a strong family culture is seeking an experienced Electrical Bias Building Services Engineer to join their London team. This is a varied role combining electrical expertise with general M&E maintenance, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a well-respected business.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain BMS front-end systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and mechanical plant
  • Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Undertake general M&E maintenance tasks, including: emergency lighting tests, water temperature monitoring, AHU and FCU maintenance, minor plumbing repairs, reactive maintenance
  • Provide excellent client-facing service, maintaining strong on-site relationships

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven experience in PPM, fault-finding, and repairs on both electrical and mechanical systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Based within a commutable distance of Central London
