We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join a vital service delivering social, emotional, and practical support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges that impact their ability to sustain a stable tenancy. In this rewarding role, you will work directly with people who are homeless or at risk of losing their homes, helping them navigate complex situations and move toward greater stability and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with complex mental health needs
  • Deliver crisis-related housing support to help prevent homelessness and tenancy breakdown
  • Support clients in securing and maintaining accommodation
  • Offer guidance on benefits, budgeting, and managing debt
  • Help individuals access appropriate long-term services and community support
  • Work with people facing multiple challenges, including substance misuse, offending history, anti-social behaviour
  • Promote positive mental health and wellbeing through practical and emotional support

About You:

  • You have experience working with individuals with complex or multiple support needs
  • You are empathetic, resilient, and able to build trust with vulnerable individuals
  • You understand the challenges surrounding homelessness, mental health, and tenancy sustainment
  • You are confident working in a fast-paced, crisis-focused environment
  • You are committed to making a real difference in people's lives
  • Hold a UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (Child & Adult) within the past 12 months
