HOURS: 37 hours Monday to Sunday - 8am - 9pm (shifts)

SALARY: £15.34 PAYE + Holiday

DURATION: Temporary contract for 2-3 months

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Development Worker to join a dedicated Support team within a supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–25. This role focuses on empowering young people experiencing homelessness to build confidence, develop essential life skills, and move towards independent living. You’ll play a key part in supporting individuals to achieve their goals and create positive futures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one key worker support to young people aged 16–25
  • Develop and review personalised support and action plans
  • Complete and maintain risk assessments and risk management plans
  • Support tenancy and housing-related needs
  • Assist with benefit applications (Universal Credit)
