Are you passionate about Fire Safety, seeking a new Permanent Job? My client has an immediate opportunity to join their Compliance Team on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will manage fire safety and building safety major works across all building categories, including high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise buildings, ensuring compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO 2005) and the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA 2022).
Responsibilities:
- Manage fire safety and building safety major works projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct risk assessments for each project & ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place.
- Oversee contractor and consultant performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards, ensuring all projects follow correct processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain financial forecasts, monitor project expenditure and provide regular financial reports whilst ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
- Ensure projects adhere to agreed timescales and performance benchmarks (KPIs).
- Undertake regular site inspections to assess the quality of works and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, consultants, and residents, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between all parties.
