Domestic Abuse Outreach Support Worker Location: Monmouthshire Hours: Full Time Are you passionate about helping others and making a difference in the community? If so BRC are recruiting for a Floating Support Worker to join an incredible team in Monmouthshire. This charity is dedicated to providing support for families and individuals affected by domestic violence, enabling them to live a life free from fear and abuse. As a Floating Support Worker your role would involve working closely with these individuals, aiding them to maintain their tenancy. Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Support women within Monmouthshire thereby enabling these women to avoid crisis situations and/or a stay in refuge accommodation. Delivering practical and compassionate support. Undertaking assessments of need and risk assessments. Working as part of a team and liaising with colleagues to provide a well-rounded support network. Ensuring measures are taken to prevent tenancy breakdown. Encouraging families to create and maintain a community support network.
