HOURS: 22.5 per week (3 days on a rolling rota, Mon–Sun, 8am–9pm)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Support Worker to join our Adults and Families service. In this role, you will support individuals with complex needs, including challenging behaviour linked to mental ill health and alcohol or substance misuse. This is a rewarding opportunity where you’ll help customers work towards stability, independence, and improved wellbeing in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with complex needs through person-centred approaches
- Assist with support planning and delivery of tailored interventions
- Carry out risk assessments and manage risk in line with procedures
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers
- Maintain accurate records and use internal systems effectively
- Work both independently (including lone working) and as part of a team
- Respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations
About You
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of support needs and support planning
- Experience in risk assessment and risk management
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport
- Good IT and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Resilient, with a positive and professional attitude
