Embark on an exciting journey with a leading mental health charity as a Support Navigator! In this dynamic contract role, you'll be the guiding light for individuals navigating the complexities of community-based services. You will be working directly with complex mental health issues, with the optional opportunity to pick up either 1 or 2 sleep-in shifts a week. The annual salary is based on full-time hours and 1x sleep in per week.
Please note: This post is open to female applicants only, as being female is deemed a Genuine Occupational Requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010. You will be working in the female trauma team supporting females with a history of trauma.
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs, and neurodivergence.
- Collaboratively create, update, and review risk assessments and support plans.
- Support with crisis intervention & management.
- Work in the community across x2 services and sometimes within people’s homes.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with service users, colleagues, and external support providers.
- Familiarity with community-based services and resources.
- Proficiency in data management and record-keeping.
- Relevant experience in a social service, healthcare, or community-based role.
- Experience working with individuals with a diverse range of mental health diagnoses.
