A Domestic Abuse Service in Bridgend is seeking a Support Officer to join our dedicated Domestic Abuse Services team. As a Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of domestic abuse services, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of the service. Responsibilities:
- Aid the MARAC Coordinator, being the first point of contact for professional bodies for the MARAC process.
- Receive and process referrals and circulate to appropriate case managers.
- Effectively assess the needs and risk of victims, safeguarding and safety planning.
- Ensure that all victims are aware of the support available and are signposted to relevant services.
- Support the MARAC Coordinator to administer the MARAC procedures, ensuring the MARAC process is implemented effectively.
