BRC are currently recruiting for an Admin & Customer Service Officer to join a busy Housing Association in Newport, supporting their Gas Scheduling Team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration, customer service or scheduling experience who is confident working in a busy environment and managing a high volume of appointments and enquiries.
The Role
- Scheduling and coordinating gas servicing and maintenance appointments.
- Liaising with tenants to arrange and confirm appointments.
- Handling incoming calls, emails and customer enquiries.
- Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with engineers, contractors and internal teams to ensure appointments run smoothly.
- Rescheduling appointments and dealing with cancellations or no access.
- Following up on missed or unsuccessful appointments.
- Providing general administrative support to the Gas Scheduling Team.
- Ensuring customers receive a professional and helpful service at all times.
About You
- Previous administration, customer service or scheduling experience.
- Experience within social housing, repairs, maintenance or property services would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communicating with customers and internal/external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced scheduling environment.
- Good IT and data-entry skills.
- Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
