Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with social services, housing teams and other external agencies.
  • Ensure records, reports and other documentation are completed to a high standard.
  • Monitor the condition and safety of the accommodation.
  • Promote independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Contribute to service development and continuous improvement.

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience in supported accommodation, housing, homelessness, children's/young people's services or social care, ideally with experience of supervising or managing staff.

  • Experience supporting young people with complex or multiple needs.
  • Previous experience of managing or supervising a team.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage incidents and challenging situations calmly and effectively.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals.
  • A person-centred, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
  • Confidence working independently and making appropriate decisions.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred but is not essential.
