ABOUT THE COMPANY. This local Council in Sydney is looking for a highly motivated Building Surveyor - Restricted (class 1 and 10 buildings) to join their team for an immediate start.
ABOUT THE POSITION. In this role, you will involve frequent communication with both internal and external parties to ensure the smooth execution of projects. This is an initial 3 month contract with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance. Become a pivotal player in assisting their team in issuing building information certificates (BIC), construction certificates (CC), occupation certificates (OC), complying development certificate (CDC) and inspecting unauthorized works.
DUTIES.
- Assess and determine BICs, OCs, CCs and CDCs
- Conduct site inspections
- Provide written referrals and stakeholder consultation
- Investigate and resolve complaints and requests from the community
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Accreditation as an A3 Certifier
- Qualifications in Building Surveying (or related)
- Current Class C NSW Driver’s licence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
