Our client, a well-established road surfacing contractor in the North West, is seeking an experienced Surfacing Contracts Manager to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage high-profile highways and surfacing projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee surfacing contracts from pre-start through to completion
  • Plan and programme works, managing site teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Maintain strong client relationships, including local authorities and commercial clients
  • Manage contract costs, variations, and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and environmental standards

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within road surfacing or highways
  • Strong operational, commercial, and leadership skills
  • Relevant industry qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across the North West
  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills
