Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across North and South Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Supervisor with experience in civil engineering, utilities, or the water sector to join a growing team delivering essential infrastructure projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring work is carried out in line with programme, quality, and health & safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities on site. Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures. Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections. Monitor quality standards and ensure works are completed to specification. Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, permits, and inspection reports. Identify and escalate site issues to the Site Manager where required. Support programme delivery by ensuring works are completed on schedule. Promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture across site. About You The successful candidate will have: Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, General Foreman, or Supervisor within civil engineering, utilities, or infrastructure. Experience within the water and/or wastewater sector is highly desirable. Good understanding of construction methods and site health & safety requirements. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to organise site activities and motivate teams. A proactive and solution-focused approach. Full UK driving licence.
