My client is a UK leading blue-chip contractor predominantly delivering high quality CAT A and CAT B fit out projects throughout the UK. They have gained an outstanding reputation for delivering a number of illustrious projects ranging from smaller schemes to large scale projects, valued up to £200m. They are now seeking an experienced and talented Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Key responsibilities to include: Cost control and value management strategies. Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements Manage subcontractor payments. Provide guidance on contractual issues. Variation Account and forecast final accounts. Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans. Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission. Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities. Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others. Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.
