We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established and growing commercial property and asset management business on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial fit-out projects, with strong exposure to CAT A and CAT B works.

You will need to be highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple tenders and estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with internal company procedures
  • Interpret client briefs accurately and effectively
  • Produce detailed cost plans aligned with design briefs and supporting documentation
  • Manage multiple live estimates and tenders simultaneously
  • Price projects using technical knowledge, often with varying levels of information
  • Assess and include compliance requirements within costings
  • Liaise closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
  • Conduct site surveys to support design development and quantification
  • Assess programme impact on costings and adjust accordingly
  • Provide pre-construction advice to support project decision-making
  • Identify and account for risk within estimates
  • Carry out any additional reasonable duties as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction estimating, ideally within commercial office and industrial fit-out (CAT A & CAT B)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly when priorities change
