We're working with a long-established, specialist contractor operating across the North West, known for their high standards in property diagnostics and remedial repair solutions. With a strong pipeline of residential and commercial work, they are looking to appoint a Remedial Surveyor to join their technical team.
This is a hands-on surveying role, ideal for someone with a background in damp and timber treatment, structural diagnostics, or building pathology. The business operates with a strong focus on customer service, quality delivery, and health & safety.
Your Role
- Undertake detailed surveys of properties affected by issues such as damp, timber decay, structural movement, and water ingress.
- Diagnose faults and propose effective, long-term remedial solutions.
- Prepare clear and detailed reports for clients, both written and verbal.
- Liaise with installation teams to ensure works are completed to specification.
- Monitor works on-site when required and ensure H&S compliance throughout.
- Work closely with office support staff and directors to coordinate schedules and client communication.

- Previous experience in remedial surveying (damp, timber, or structural repairs).
- Knowledge of survey tools and techniques (e.g. moisture meters, hygrometers, etc.).
- Confident in preparing reports and explaining technical solutions to clients.
- Full UK driving licence.
