You\’ll be working in a busy head office environment, supporting a team of dedicated professionals who pride themselves on delivering excellent client service and maintaining a well-run, welcoming workplace. Your new role Our client is seeking a confident and well-presented Receptionist / Administrator to provide front-of-house and administrative support within their Stockport head office. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same – ideal for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy office and contributing to smooth daily operations. You\’ll act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, while also supporting the Office Manager and wider team with essential administrative duties. Responsibilities will include: Answering and screening incoming calls in a professional, courteous manner Meeting and greeting clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment Managing head office orders (stationery, milk, coffee, sugar, etc.) and ensuring all office areas are well-stocked Coordinating deliveries and distributing supplies throughout the office Setting up and closing down meeting rooms before and after use Providing general administrative support to the Office Manager and wider team Carrying out ad hoc errands, including post office visits and collection runs Assisting with general office coordination and ensuring smooth daily operations What you will need to succeed: Previous experience in a Receptionist or Administrative role (ideally within a busy office environment) Professional, confident, and client-facing manner Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to help where needed Full UK driving licence (essential) What you get in return: You\’ll be joining a supportive and welcoming office team that values professionalism, teamwork, and reliability.
