Our client is one of the UK's leading commercial roofing and waterproofing contractors. Their reputation for excellence, innovation, and safety sets them apart in the construction industry. Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, specialising in roofing and waterproofing projects across the UK. You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of multiple contracts, ensuring profitability and compliance while building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage accurate project costings, budgets, and forecasts
  • Value completed works and manage payments with clients and subcontractors
  • Produce tender documents and assist with bid preparation
  • Monitor contract progress, identify risks and implement solutions
  • Ensure contractual compliance and effective change control
  • Liaise with project managers, estimators, and site teams to deliver successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the roofing or wider construction sector
  • Strong understanding of roofing systems and commercial contract management
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Familiar with JCT and NEC contracts
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying
